DRAPER SILVERDRIVE 3/8” 40 PIECE SOCKET SET

We recently had a fascinating tour around Draper’s 400,000 sq.ft. premises. Founded by Bert Draper in 1919 it is still a family owned business and employs over 350 staff at its Hampshire headquarters. It’s all very hi-tec, particularly the quality testing department, where special equipment can check, for example, the precision of spanner and socket sizes, the strength of the tools and measure case hardening. There is also an amazing X-ray machine that can instantly identify the exact composition of any material. All very interesting. The Draper Silverdrive set here offers excellent quality and value for money. It has 40 pieces, a useful 3/8” drive and has both metric and AF size sockets. Made from chrome vanadium steel, hardened, tempered and chrome plated for corrosion protection.
