MAXISCAN 310 FAULT DIAGNOSTICS CODE TOOL

Engine functions on modern cars like the PT Cruiser are electronically monitored and should a fault occur it will stored in the car’s computer as a 5 digit code. This excellent value for money tool will read the fault codes applying to the engine, transmission, emissions and display the fault.
Once the fault is fixed, the code reader can be used to erase the code and the engine-check light . It can display live engine data with the engine running. It can also display freeze-frame data (a snapshot view of the various sensor values when the actual fault occurred).
Very simple to use, just plug it into the diagnostic socket, inside the PT near the accelerator pedal, and switch on the ignition. If there is, or has been, a fault it will display the code number followed by the fault description on the large display.

This very popular tool will read the fault codes applying to the engine, transmission and emissions and displays the fault on the large display. It has many useful features including:
Clear codes Once the fault is fixed, it can clear the code and turn off the engine-check light.
