PT CRUISER TOUCH-UP PAINTS

Useful Mopar touch-up paints with a brush in the lid for applying paint to scratches, stone chips etc. The paint code for PT Cruisers always starts with the letter P and on some cars is to be found on a white label fixed to the inside of the driver’s or passenger door jamb. On UK cars, under the bonnet on the driver’s side of the bulkhead, there is a small metal plate with embossed lettering. The 3 digit paint code follows the letters APA. DIESEL DRIVE BELT

The 2.2L CRD PT Cruiser engine has a camshaft chain rather than a belt and does not require changing routinely like the petrol models. The belt here, which drives the alternator, water pump etc. is recommended for change at 62500 miles (100,000kms) or at 60 months. Click picture for belt layout. 2.2 CRD DIESEL TURBO INLET HOSE

Replacement turbo inlet hose for the 2.2 litre diesel PT Cruiser. Loss of power is most commonly due to this hose failing. Small splits can sometimes develop in the hose that then open up when hot. This is a common fault that causes a loss in power and performance. Fault codes P01A4 or P0243 are often due to a faulty hose. Click here for fitting instructions. CHRYSLER BONNET BADGE

Replacement Chrysler badge for the PT Cruiser bonnet. There are two types of badges which can easily be identified by clicking on the photo on the left. Earlier badges had fixing spigots 50mm from the ends of the ‘wings’. On later ones, the spigots were 70mm from the ends. Fits 2000 - 2005.
